Bank robber in Bulgaria took hostages

Unknown attacker broke into Investbank, located in the Bulgarian town of Sliven, in the evening on March 23. When an attempted robbery he had wounded a security guard of the bank and took hostage seven people. At the scene was attended by representatives of law enforcement agencies that are planning to hold a special operation to free the hostages. Two hours after the seizure of bank offender fired several shots, but people were not injured. The fire escape was possible to evacuate 26 employees of the institution. In the night from Wednesday to Thursday offender drew one of the hostages on cigarettes and water. To date, to free the hostages failed. "Our only purpose - to achieve a successful outcome," - said Minister of the Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov.
