Bankers write to the President

Leaders of the largest banks in the country wrote a letter to the president of the Association of regional banks Anatoly Aksakov and president of the Association of Russian Banks Garegin Tosunyanu requesting creation of a single professional organization, writes Kommersant. The document was a signatory to the head of Sberbank German Gref, head of VTB Andrey Kostin, president of VEB Vladimir Dmitriev, Mikhail Fridamn of Alfa-Bank and a representative of Gazprombank Andrey Akimov. The first person lending institutions believe that is necessary to consolidate forces to raise competitiveness in light of a single financial center in Russia's capital.
