Citigroup is selling its business

The U.S. banking group Citigroup sold its German unit of French bank CM-CIC. The acquisition price is 5.2 billion euros (6.7 billion dollars). The German unit of Citigroup specializing in consumer lending, credit card and investment advice. Last week, also discussed the intention of Citigroup to sell its Japanese unit NikkoCiti Trust and Banking, engaged in asset management.
