The crisis hit the rich

So, in January-June 2009 the share of 10% of the most high-income group accounted for 30,4% of total income (as against 30.5% in the first half of 2008), and the share of 10% least well-off population as a year ago - 1.9%. The poor of our rich - they seem to account for all the worse now. They are not only multiply their millions, but lost count. However, this coin has another side. Financial and economic instability are the reason that for the first time in the past five years, the income gap between rich and poor in Russia is surprisingly not increased and even stayed at the same level. According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in the I half of 2009, the differentiation of Russia's population by income level compared to the I half of 2008 was virtually unchanged. Trend of previous years was broken just because of the crisis wages secured by the Russians not only have increased and, conversely, have fallen. According to data released on Thursday by the Federal State Statistics Service, for the I half of 2009, the share of 10% most wealthy Russians accounted for 30.4% of total cash income, while in the I half of 2008, slightly more - 30.5%. For comparison: in the I half of 2007 - 30,2%, in I half of 2006 - 29,9%, in the I half of 2005 - 29,6%. At the same time the share of 10% least well-off population of the country in January-June 2009 accounted for only 1,9% of total cash income residents of the Russian Federation. Many were in the I half of 2008. For comparison: in the I half of 2007, I half of 2006 and the first half of 2005 the figure was 2%. Meanwhile, the total amount of cash incomes of the Russian Federation in I half of 2009 totaled 13 trillion 022.9 billion rubles. This is 1 trillion 512 billion rubles. more than the same period last year. So, in I half of 2008 the figure was 11 trillion 510.8 billion Thus cash costs of Russians over the past six months have also increased. So, in I half of 2009 in the amount they were 13 trillion 264.4 billion rubles, against 11 trillion 520.3 billion in the I half of 2008. With regard to per capita income of Russians in the I half of 2009, less than 2000 rubles per month in this period received only 1,2% of the total population of Russia (January-June 2008 - 1,7%). Revenues from 2000 to 4000 rubles fell on 7.4% of Russians (against 9.6% previously). From 4000 to 6000 rubles in the I half of 2009, received 11,4% of Russians (13,4%), from 6000 to 8000 rubles - 12,0% (13,1%), from 8000 to 10000 rubles - 10,9% (11,4%). Almost one in five (20.2%) received in the previous six months, from 10000 to 15000 rubles. In I half of last year, the proportion of such was a little more - 20,7%. Most of our citizens the same (20,8% of Russians) were obtained in the first six months of this year, from 15000 to 25000 rubles. It is noteworthy that in the I half of 2008, these citizens have been less - only 18,5%. In turn, the share of those lucky ones who got in I half of 2009, more than 25,000 rubles a month, amounts to 15,6% (against 12.1% during the same period last year).
