OPEC does not want to change the outlook of oil prices

Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in its June forecast, released Wednesday, left unchanged the previous estimate of oil demand in 2010. According to the latest forecast, oil demand this year will amount to 85.37 million barrels a day. In the May report, the figure projected at 85.38 million barrels. Compared with 2009, growth in demand for "black gold" will amount to 950,000 barrels per day. "Recent data indicate that demand for oil in the first half of the year grew slightly faster than expected. However, the projected slowdown in global economic recovery is likely to affect the estimates of demand for raw materials in the second half of the year",
