State Corporation Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) announces that on 31 December 2008, an agreement was signed between the DIA, Joint Stock Commercial Bank "Soyuz" JSC, Ltd. Holding FinanceResource (the main shareholder of bank "Union", belongs to a group "Basic Element") and ZAO Gazfinans (100% subsidiary of Gazpromregiongaz, part of Gazprom Group, hereinafter - "Gazfinans") on terms and conditions the parties' cooperation in carrying out activities to prevent bankruptcy and improve battery UNION.
