Consumer prices in Russia from 25 to 31 May rose by 0.1%. This rate has been observed for the second week in a row. In May prices had grown by 0,4%. This is evidenced by published today Rosstat. A year earlier inflation rate for May gained 0.6% since the beginning of the year - 6,8%. Recall that according to the Ministry of Economic Development (MED), inflation in May will not exceed 0.4%, and for five months can make 4,0-4,1%. In this year the Kremlin hopes for a significant slowdown in inflation - according to the official forecast, consumer price inflation should not exceed 7% against 8,8% in 2009 and 13,3% in 2008.
