It is based on the data formed by the Federal Service for Insurance Supervision. According to the head office of Alexander Koval, over the past three quarters of the total premiums showed an increase of 6,9% and reached 776.95 billion rubles. The greatest increase in voluntary insurance recorded in the North Caucasus Federal District (20.9%), while the smallest - in the Volga (2.5%). Market leader was the company Sogaz, which for a specified period of payment of its customers 10.75 billion rubles. In second place was the insurance company ZHASO, issuing 4.06 billion rubles. And the third - Ingosstrakh to 3.73 billion rubles. In the three leaders in the number of engaged clients include: Rosno (1,630,000 contracts), Ingosstrakh (1.1 million contracts) and Rosgosstrakh (0.57 million contracts). However, the total net profits of insurers in the first half declined by 2.3% to 17.14 billion rubles.
