Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has signed a development strategy for mortgage lending in the next two decades. The main purpose of the program is cheaper mortgage programs to a level that they can be 60% of families in Russia. In the opinion, Putin's deputy Alexander Zhukov, only 17% of households could afford a mortgage. This figure is the difference with these professionals from UniCredit Bank, estimated that only 2% of the population is available, this type of loan. According to government forecasts the proportion of people able to take a mortgage loan in 2015 should rise to 30% by 2020 - up to 50%. Over the next decade will increase another 10%, approaching the bar at 60%. The volume of mortgages on real estate market will increase from 12% to 50%, while loan charge reduced to 2-3% per annum.
