He noted that this year the state will continue to provide substantial support for the Russian automobile industry. Only 30 billion rubles will be spent on the purchase of automotive and municipal equipment for state and municipal needs. In addition, banks as well as in 2009, will give subsidized loans for the purchase of domestic cars. The state will compensate the two-thirds of the interest rate on the loan. At the same time, the Prime Minister outlined several important directions of development of the domestic auto industry.
