Russia's foreign debt grows

External Debt of the Russian Federation on January 1, 2008 (463.5) to October 1 this year rose to 540.5 billion dollars, the Bank of Russia. Over this period, the debt of banks without capital and debt liabilities to direct investors increased by 34.2 billion and amounted to 196.7 billion dollars.
