The State Duma adopted amendments to limit stabrezerva CMTPL

The State Duma adopted on February 11 in the second and third reading amendments to the law on compulsory motor TPL insurance, limiting the size of stabrezerva for mandatory "Driver". Insurers stabrezervy which exceed the set limit, the excess will have to recognize gain and pay taxes with it. Amendments shall enter into force on 1 January 2010, limit the size of the stabilization reserve 10 percent of the reserve for incurred but not reported claims. Until 31 December 2012 will operate under a transitional period during which insurers will be required to recalculate the reserves at the end of each quarter. On December 31, 2012 entered a permanent restriction stabrezerva ten percent of RPNU. Under the current law on compulsory motor TPL insurance in stabrezerv goes all the profits of the insurer in excess of 5%.
