Arrears on housing foreign currency loans increased by 2.8 times

Arrears on home loans that were granted by credit institutions to individuals in foreign currency rose from 10 October 2008 to January 1, 2009 in 2,8 times, from 2244 to 6373 million rudders. Amount of debt over the same period grew from 216,374 to 237,065 rubles. The volume of loans increased by 21,998 billion rubles. The weighted average interest rate was 10.9 on January 1.
